	The Bertrand Russell Society, a non-profit scholarly society, was founded in 1974. Since its inception, its organizational mission has been threefold: 1. to promote interest in the life and work of Bertrand Russell (1872–1970) 2. to bring together persons interested in any aspect of the foregoing 3. to promote causes that Russell championed Our motto is: “The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge.”
